News that a woman will appear on the $10 bill in 2020 prompted an explosion of candidate suggestions and celebration, tempered by criticism of how the change will be carried out.
...to view entree to a dying institution as a victory--they'll get a woman on a bill just as we phase out paper money.
The problem is therew's really only one woman historically significant to warrant a spot--Harriet Beecher Stowe--and even she's a stretch. Lincoln and Grant have that moment covered.
