JUNK EITHER WAY:

Henry Moore sundial sculpture stolen from museum garden (Press Association/guardian.co.uk, 13 July 2012)

Sundial 1965 was taken late on Tuesday or early on Wednesday from the garden at the Henry Moore Foundation in Perry Green, Hertfordshire.

As yet it is not known whether the 22in (56cm) sundial, which is made up of two interlocking bronze crescents, was stolen by someone wanting to sell it as a work of art or for its scrap value.
