IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE A GOVERNOR...:

Michigan Seems Like a Dream to Me Now (ANDREW ROSENTHAL, 2/29/12, NY Times)

Are you still trying to wrap your head around last night's Republican primaries, and what they mean?  Mitt Romney won Michigan, which everyone expected. But he didn't win by much, and may split the delegates down the middle with Rick Santorum. So was it a "real" victory? He also won Arizona, but does anyone care? And is Super Tuesday still going to be super?

Here's my CliffsNotes version: Mr. Romney was always going to be the nominee. He is still going to be the nominee.

...Jeb and Mitch didn't run; TPaw quit (too early); and Perry was a disaster.
