AS THE TEA PARTIES WERE A REPUBLICAN ARCHETYPE, SO ARE THE OCCUPIERS A DEMOCRATIC ONE:

Does Occupy Wall Street need to get specific? (Dan Farber, 10/13/11, CBS News)

It's not the sort of question you'd ask of a conservative movement--conservatism being about ideas it is always specific.  But the UR illustrates why you must ask it of a liberal movement--ideas act as a solvent on the Left, where various interest groups pursue their own personal agendas with nothing to bind them together except an emotion or two.  Thus, specificity destroys the movement.
