THE REDDEST STATE IN AMERICA...AGAIN:

GOP Romps Up And Down Ticket (Josh Rogers, November 03, 2010, NHPR)

Lead by Kelly Ayotte’s decisive win over Paul Hodes in the race for US Senate, Republicans claimed pretty much everything but the corner office. [...]

And Ayotte’s win was just the beginning. Republican Frank Guinta easily topped incumbent Democrat Carol Shea-Porter in the first congressional district. And Charlie Bass bested Democrat Ann McLane Kuster more narrowly in the second CD. And excepting the governor’s race, it would be fair to say the GOP romped yesterday, ending the democrats four years dominance in Concord --and doing so convincingly. Republicans are expected to claim at least 250 seats in the house and will control 19 of the 24 seats in the senate. Oh, and there’s the executive council races; the GOP took all five. Grant Bosse, a former GOP congressional candidate, and republican staffer in Concord and Washington says he never seen anything like it.

“Nationally it’s not going to be a record breaking years, it’s going to be as good as 94 as good as 02, not better. In NH it’s much better than 94 than 02 for republicans; not just winning, it’s running up the score in republican areas and they are winning towns that they really have no business winning.”
