NOTHING COSTS MORE THAN IT USED TO:

New version of Apple TV is smaller and cheaper (New Statesman, 06 September 2010)

Apple last Wednesday announced a smaller, cheaper version of its Apple TV device for streaming movies and television shows over the internet.

The new device is one-fourth the original size and will sell for $99, a big drop from the original model's $229.

The redesigned Apple TV includes built-in HDMI, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and will be released in four weeks.
