Wyoming race is wide open (ALEX ISENSTADT & CHARLES MAHTESIAN, 3/5/10, Politico)
Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal will not seek a third term in 2010, a move that dramatically enhances Republican chances of picking up a Democratic-held seat. [...]Posted by Orrin Judd at March 5, 2010 6:57 AMIn May, Freudenthal took heat from state Republicans after offering his wife as one of the candidates for an open federal judgeship. President Barack Obama, whom Freudenthal campaigned for in 2008, nominated Nancy Freudenthal — a corporate attorney and the former chairwoman of the Wyoming Tax Commission — for the position in December.
