Toomey leads the five-term incumbent among likely voters, 44 percent to 34 percent, with 16 percent undecided. Joe Sestak, Toomey would fare even better. In the Franklin and Marshall poll, Toomey leads Sestak by 18 points among likely voters, 38 percent to 20 percent.
