AND THEY WONDER WHY AMERICANS WON'T WATCH?:

'Delboy' Ronaldo has run out of people he can con, now he's just fooling himself with all that ridiculous ducking and diving (Hatchet Man, 05th March 2009, Daily Mail)

Cristiano Ronaldo looked like he was caught by Steven Taylor as the Newcastle defender threw out an arm last night and the Manchester United bench were furious that only a yellow card was shown.

But what do they expect when the Portuguese has become the boy who cried wolf? Referees really have little choice but to assume at least some of what they see from the Manchester United forward is theatrical.

In the same match Nemanja Vidic suffered a nasty cut under his eye after clashing with Obafemi Martins and you didn't see the defender rolling around as if he had been fatally wounded like his team-mate.

The sad result of that is that nobody believes in the antics of the World Player of the Year any more.

Blackburn 0 Everton 0: Turgid battle is a TV turn-off (Chris Wheeler, 05th March 2009, Daily Mail)
SKY probably knew what they were letting themselves in for when they chose this one for live coverage and Blackburn and Everton duly delivered at Ewood Park last night.

A tight, often turgid battle between two teams who, in making themselves very difficult to beat, do not figure high on the list of English football's box-office attractions.
