The Roland Burris drama took a new twist Wednesday morning with a report that Senate Democrats were ready to accept him to fill President-elect Barack Obama's vacant seat.

But a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid denied the Associated Press report, telling FOX News that "There are various options on the table."
