Pelosi suggests Bush boycott Olympic opening (Carl Hulse, April 2, 2008, NY Times)

Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House, suggested that President George W. Bush consider skipping the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Beijing to protest China's actions in Tibet, its overall human rights record and its trade policies.
