There's a interesting and amusing posting over at the Brothers Judd yesterday about one James Farrell, an American executive who is supposedly dealing in stolen antiquities from the Near East. Interesting story, but as far as I can tell as yet unproven.

However, what's much more interesting to me is the person who's peddling these allegations: notorious art world rat fink, Michel Van Rijn.

As we noted yesterday, this character was inundating with e-mails about the huge scandal that was about to blow the Administration out of the water. we decided to share the fun after John Negroponte got a huge upgrade to his power, rather than being led away in cuffs, as we were assured was imminent. Brother Miller speaks with some knowledge about the guy and it isn't pretty.
