JUSTIFICATION, NOT PROVOCATION:

Iraq is only the latest episode in a centurylong series of misinterpreted, misunderstood, misapplied, suppressed, and flat-out incorrect intelligence that has led the United States into war.
An entertaining list which completely misses the point that in pretty much every case bad intelligence was used to justify wars we wanted to fight, rather than being an accidental cause of those wars. Posted by Orrin Judd at February 7, 2004 6:27 AM
