GRUDGE MATCH
Nothing better than bitter rivals (Dan Shaughnessy, 7/25/2003, Boston Globe)It's the frequency that makes this different. Harvard and Yale joust on the gridiron only once a year. The Democrats and Republicans bite one anothers ankles hourly, but their defining moment comes on a Tuesday in November every fourth year.
What we have here is more of a Hatfields vs. McCoys feud. Blood-Crips, Sharks-Jets, and all that.
