Court strikes down two cornerstones of new campaign finance law (AP, 5/2/2003)While others have argued that new political spending restrictions in the law violate free speech, those challenging the higher hard money limits say it impinges on speech rights by giving wealthy donors too loud a voice in elections.
Thought patterns of those on the left are, at times, so foreign to me that I wonder whether we may lose our ability to communicate. The idea that free speech is lost when others speak is a concept that I find profoundly mysterious. Posted by Paul Jaminet at May 2, 2003 6:53 PM
