Fatah wing targets top Arafat aide (NEWS WIRE SERVICES, February 8, 2003)

Internal Palestinian squabbles took a more ominous turn yesterday when Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah organization, warned it will send a suicide bomber after the Palestinian Authority's security chief, an Israeli newspaper reported.

"The first case of a suicide attack against Palestinians, carried out by the Fatah military wing, will be against [Interior Minister Hani] al-Hassan, if he arrives in Nablus," read a pamphlet distributed by masked men in the West Bank city, according to the Israeli daily Haaretz.
