Tuskegee Airmen leader Davis dies (Associated Press, July 6, 2002 )
Benjamin O. Davis Jr., the leader of the famed all-black Tuskegee Airmen during World War II and the first black general in the Air Force, has died.

Who can help but be humbled by the brave and noble service rendered to America through the years by men it treated as second-class citizens, or worse. God's gathered unto Himself a couple remarkable pilots over the last few days. Posted by Orrin Judd at July 6, 2002 11:30 AM
