TALKIN' BOUT MY GENERATION :
John Entwistle died when the drug caused a heart attack (ASSOCIATED PRESS, 7/25/02)John Entwistle, the 57-year-old bass player for the rock band The Who, died from a heart attack caused by cocaine use, the Clark County coroner said Thursday. Coroner Ron Flud ruled the death accidental and said it was not an overdose.Entwistle was one of the band's founders. Another original member, drummer Keith Moon, died in 1978 of a drug overdose at the age of 32.
A quarter century later and he dies alone in a hotel room, age 57, from drug use. That's pitiful. Wouldn't it have been better to just grow up? Posted by Orrin Judd at July 25, 2002 9:24 PM
