We here at Brothers Judd are of the belief that the world of pundits and blogs is most useful not so much for the information it provides--traditional media is and will remain the best source for the raw information and the background on stories--but for the way it can help us to organize that information into a coherent framework. Especially powerful in this regard is the apt metaphor which allows you to take a new or unfamiliar situation and place it within the context of that which you know and comprehend.
