There are two good posts up at Travelling Shoes (by which we mean even better than the usual fine fare) : Axis of Evil Plus One (H.D. Miller, July 22, 2002) and Scott Ritter Off the Deep End (H.D. Miller, July 21, 2002). The latter details how Scott Ritter has turned into a Saddamite. The former calls for the destruction of Syria's rather limited military power and serving Bashar al-Assad the comeuppance that he deserves, but which his father deserved even more. One would actually assume that as Mr. al-Assad looks around him--and sees Turkey and Jordan forging ties to Israel, the PLO and the mullahs in Iran losing popular support and Saddam about to get his head handed to him--he must feel like the Tenth Indian.
