HEY, SADDAM, SINCE YOU'RE NOT USING THAT HOLE CAN I BORROW IT?:
Pyongyang sought talks with trade chiefs: Nakagawa, Hiranuma eyed for secret meetings to 'shake things up' (The Japan Times, Jan. 8, 2004)
North Korea sought a secret meeting in Beijing with Shoichi Nakagawa, minister of economy, trade and industry, as well as his predecessor, Takeo Hiranuma, late last year, sources close to bilateral affairs said Wednesday.Hiranuma last fall succeeded Nakagawa as head of a group of Japanese lawmakers seeking to resolve the abductions of Japanese by Pyongyang's agents.
The reclusive state has not responded to Tokyo's request for bilateral dialogue following talks in Beijing in August, and Japanese government sources said they see the efforts to get in touch with influential politicians as attempts by Pyongyang to shake things up.
Man, Mr. Kim wants out from under in the worst way, but is too inept to escape the hole he's dug himself. How would you like to have engraved on your headstone: "Even Qaddafi made him look backwards and oafish" Posted by Orrin Judd at January 7, 2004 08:33 PM
OJ
If we lived in a rational world would not Jimmy Carter have sought a Declaration of War against Iran and likewise would not Japan declare war on North Korea. The crudity of accepting a foreign government's kidnapping of innocent civilians will lead to bad things.
