C'MON, IT WAS ONLY TREASON (via Mike Daley):

The John Dillinger Chair in Business Ethics? (Roger Kimball, Armavirumque)

Or how about the Jack the Ripper Chair in Criminology?

Preposterous, of course. But then what about the Alger Hiss Professor of Social Studies? Wander on up to Bard College at picturesque Annandale on Hudson and you can meet him in person.

If only such things still had the capacity to shock us, but the modern academy is too dominated by the Left and too debased intellectually for such to prompt more than a shake of the head.

It isn't even worth a parody or imitation.

Annandale on Hudson...

Isn't that near where the Hillary lives? She could moonlight teaching an appropriate course.

I am too charitable to say half the things about the left that they say about themselves.

Meshulam Riklis was corporate buccaner of the 1960's and 70's, best known for using his control of a liquor company to advance the career of his wife Pia Zadora. He endowed a chair of business ethics at his alma mater, Ohio State. I think OSU quietly fogort about it.

Obligatory Steely Dan reference:

California tumbles into the sea
That'll be the day I go
Back to Annandale

My Old School
