Digging into "42" - Did they get their facts straight? (Rob Neyer, Apr 19 2013, Baseball Nation)

Don't read the piece until you've seen the movie, which we did on Friday.  But after you've seen it you will want some clarification, particularly with regard to the ingenious framing device they use: a little black kid from Florida who is inspired by seeing Jackie.

For my money, the best scene in the movie is the one where Kentuckian Pee Wee Reese goes to see Branch Rickey about hate mail he receives prior to a trip to Cincinnati.
