I FORGET HOW THE SONG GOES:

Castro Near Death, U.S. Intelligence Chief Says (Karen DeYoung, December 15, 2006, Washington Post)

Cuban President Fidel Castro is very ill and close to death, Director of National Intelligence John D. Negroponte said yesterday.

"Everything we see indicates it will not be much longer . . . months, not years," Negroponte told a meeting of Washington Post editors and reporters.

...on which day of Christmas do we get one tyrant dying?

One more good Communist coming up.

The day of Castro's funeral, I'd open the border with Cuba. Flood the place with tourists waving dollars. Raul won't know what hit him. Maybe we could get Princeton to offer him a Chair in Hispanic Studies to get him to retire peacefully.

Pete:

We need to go just a couple of days earlier. Let Fidel see the end before he dies.

And what will Chavez do when Castro's victims come out of the darkness? We need to make sure that their voices are heard in the UN, in Congress, and across the globe.

OJ, aren't you going to run a contest on guessing the date? If so, I pick Valentine's Day.
