EVEN AL GORE CAN'T PUMP OUT ENOUGH HOT AIR TO MATTER:
'98 Arctic thaw laid to warm ocean, not hot air (Japan Times, 6/09/06)
A group of researchers said Thursday that the drastic ice shrinkage in the Arctic Ocean from 1997 to 1998 was triggered by the flow to the area of warm water from the Pacific Ocean, not by atmospheric impact as previously thought.Posted by Orrin Judd at June 8, 2006 8:40 PMThe researchers, including those from the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, said the warm water flow is also the reason why the ice has not returned to its previous level.
