VENGEANCE IS MINE...:

England Burned in Prison Kitchen Accident (AP, 12/30/05)

Lynndie England, the U.S. soldier who posed for some of the most infamous pictures of detainee abuse at Baghdad's Abu Ghraib prison, suffered burns at the prison where she is serving her sentence, her family said Friday.

The one God should be punishing, is the fool who took the pictures.

God had nothing to do with this one. I was especially impressed by the report that the girl suffered agonizing burns and was given no pain killer. Bottom line, our military wheels are torturing a girl whose greatest offence was a lack of common sense and offending Muslims and traitors.

Why would anyone want to work for people like that? Why do conservatives put up with the kind of treatment afforded to Our Best by Our Worst? George Bush should pull out his pen and pardon EVERY military person serving time and fill those cells with Pentagon bureaucrats in or out of uniform.

I was making reference to OJ's Heading "Vengeance is mine". I certainly agree with your remarks.

I hate when that happens!

What happened at Abu Ghraib was against orders and thus detrimental to the service. England and her buddies deserve what they got, not because we like the terrorists but because we value the armed services.

What happened at Abu Ghraib was a whitewashing of wider and more serious prison abuses which have now been dismissed by most Americans. "As long as we aren't really physically torturing them, its not really torture, right?"
Much, much more physically and emotionally torturous acts have been committed than what was purposefully leaked by the US military, except there aren't any pictures.

Grog,

Nothing is more torturous than reading your postings. Thank God we don't have to look at any pictures.

AllenS. Have you given thought to standup comedy? You invariably make me laugh.

Pictures to illustrate Grog's remarks? What a thought.

Grog: What's odd is that even the prisoners we are "torturing," given our currently debased standards, are being better treated than many Americans in our prisons for run-of-the-mill crimes.
