YET ON THE WATERS LOOK SO LOVELY:

Solar wind hammers the ozone layer (Quirin Schiermeier, 3/03/05, Nature)

A stream of particles from the Sun, in combination with extreme weather conditions, caused an unprecedented thinning last year of the upper Arctic ozone layer.

If only George W. Bush hadn't alienated all our allies, we could have worked out a treaty with Apollo to avoid this.

The real problem is depending on a nuclear reactor that wasn't certified by the NRC.

Now, Bush is only partly to blame. Let's not forget those evil, heartless, greedy corporations. Pursuing profit at the expense of the planet itself.
