THAT'S A HAND...WE WANT THE HEAD:

Assad replaces Syria's military intelligence head (Associated press, THE JERUSALEM POST Feb. 18, 2005)

Syrian President Bashar Assad replaced the chief of military intelligence with his brother-in-law, Syrian sources said Friday.

The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Gen. Hassan Khalil left the job after reaching retirement age.
