I'd be interested in seeing an accounting of how PP earns its bucks. They claim their primary service is to dispense information and help clients make informed decisions. But how much do they make if a client chooses to put a baby up for adoption as opposed to turning it into meat?

The abortion rate increased during G.W. Bush's first term. The honest assessment is that the abortion rate is correlated with poverty rates for women, because a disproportionate number of poor women have abortions. Presidents who reduce poverty in the US tend to reduce the abortion rate.

it is asinine, ignorant statements like this one that keep the masses msinformed about stem cell research. the stem cells used don't come from aborted fetuses, they come from fertilized embryos that have been created for use for in vitro techniques and the like and then frozen. since only some of the embryos are used, the other ones, if not used for stem cell research, are destroyed.

try and think before you shoot your mouth off. because of hysterical outbursts like that, all the patents in this new and potentially extremely profitable fields will be owned by europeans. leaving our country at a significant economic disadvantage.

oj, i don't think you were paying attention. as i said, the stem cells come from frozen embryos that are never ever in a million years going to become people. i'm going to repeat the word again, just so you know that it's not a fetus. it is an E M B R Y O. it will not mature into a fetus until weeks after it has implanted into the uterine lining. since these frozen embryos are going to be destroyed, they will not be implanted into a uterus, and will never mature into fetuses. this is all basic sex ed stuff, let me know if i've lost you again.
