AND A STRONG FOOT UP ON MAN OF THE CENTURY:
Bush Named Time's Person of 2004 (SAM DOLNICK, 12/19/04, Associated Press)
After winning re-election and "reshaping the rules of politics to fit his 10-gallon-hat leadership style," President George Bush for the second time was chosen as Time magazine's Person of the Year. The magazine's editors tapped Bush "for sharpening the debate until the choices bled, for reframing reality to match his design, for gambling his fortunes — and ours — on his faith in the power of leadership."
For good or ill, no one man has ever had--and exercised--such power to reframe reality in every corner of the globe. Posted by Orrin Judd at December 19, 2004 8:53 AM
"For good or ill, no one man has ever had--and exercised--such power to reframe reality in every corner of the globe." Yeah, whenever I get irked at the tranzis' more hyperventilating rhetoric--"Bush = Hitler", etc.--I just remind myelf that they're that shrieky because they're losing.

Big deal, I do that all the time.
