OUT OF THEIR LEAGUE:

Folk have been all atwitter about a section of the film Love, Actually where a British PM apparently faces down an American president. You can hardly begrudge the Brits the delusion that they still matter, but, unfortunately for them, their ganfalon bubble gets pricked in an ad for the new flick Chasing Liberty, about a president whose daughter runs off, prompting him to wonder: "Why can't she just do what she's told...like the British."

It's all very pomo, but this out of sequence blogging is driving me up the wall. It's hard enough to keep up with you when the newest post is always at the top.
