FORGIVE ME A SELF-REFERENTIAL MOMENT:

Dear Coach Boeheim,

1987 is forgiven.

Ah, but Orrin: can you forgive yourself?

Here's an explanation from Glenn Dryfoos:

OJ - Wow! Where did you find that picture?

For those of you who haven't heard the story before, I had been given 2 tickets to the 1987 Final Four in New Orleans. I gave Orrin one of the tickets as a Christmas gift, and he had promised that if Syracuse made it all the way to New Orleans, he would get an orange and blue "Boz" for the occasion ("Boz" then being the term for a mohawk, in honor of the now forgotten Brian Bosworth.)

Other than Orrin almost throwing some little kid out of the upper deck during the semis and our brief (and naive) stop over in a gay bar, it was a relatively uneventful weekend.....

I'm going to have to grab that picture and use it somehow :-)
