SOYMILK IS MURDER :

The killing fields : Thoughts on man's inhumanity to plants (The Times of London, 5/03/02)
Scientists at the University of Bonn have discovered that plants do indeed cry when they are cut, moan when they are ill and gurgle when they are well. The more stress we subject them to, the more noise they make.

On the other hand, it'll be easier to eat crappy tasting vegetables like broccoli, knowing that they suffered. Posted by Orrin Judd at May 6, 2002 1:40 PM
