CONTEST CLOSING AT 10AM:
Be sure to get your entries in for the BROTHERS JUDD NH DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY PROGNOSTATHON. The prize this time is especially appealing--the good people of FSB Associates are once again kicking in a book and this time it's the great Lee Harris's Civilization and Its Enemies: The Next Stage of History. If you're unfamiliar, his essay, Our World Historical Gamble, may have been the best thing written last year about the role of America in the present danger.
What's the deadline - the 27th at noon?
Posted by: AWW at January 22, 2004 10:01 AMSome may notice my entry adds up to more than 100%. Those people should stop wasting their time adding up people's entries in blog contests.

I thought it reflected the time honored fashion of Democrats voting early and often...
Posted by: MG at January 22, 2004 5:43 PMMy own prediction is that each and every one of the Democratic candidates will make a bloody fool of himself by the time the primary is over, but something tells me that no prizes will handed out for that one.
Posted by: Josh Silverman at January 22, 2004 7:38 PMMy accounting background betrays me. The aggregate scores of the 33 contestants (10:30 Thursday) are as follows:
Kerry 31
Edwards 22
Dean 21
Clark 18
Lieberman 8
Nobody has Kerry below 2nd. All but 3 have Lieberman last or next to last. Edwards and Clark have both first and last place votes. Should be fun.
Posted by: Jeff at January 22, 2004 10:37 PMI went too early and gave edwards too much credit. After watching him last night I wish I had given him way less. On the other hand, Kerry, now that he got dealt trip aces a few weeks ago, is acting like he's the man, and was all along. But he had his shrill moments, during his dark days, and I won't forget. With that being said, he looks damn Presidential.
Posted by: neil at January 23, 2004 4:42 PMWhy isn't there a prize for predicting the results of the GOP side?

There will be, but it won't be my Maggie on black velvet.
